It's been almost five years since we had cable TV in our house. Why? We wanted to discourage the girls from spending so much time in front of the television but it turned out that my husband and I have been the one who had the most adjusting to do. Another reason is that we were just not happy with our local cable provider and there was no other choice. Their customer service sucked and they charge too much for service that's not even reliable.
Now if we had Charter Communications service in our area, maybe we'll consider re-connecting the service now that the girls are older. I like that they seem to be more customer friendly and accessible than our local company. For instance, they are opening lines of communication by connecting with their customers via Twitter (@chartercom) and other venues. They also seem more fun rather than just concerned with connecting your monthly fee. For instance, if you bundle your cable, internet and telephone service, you will be automatically entered in the HDTV raffle!
Everyday this month, Charter Communications is giving away a 22" flat screen HDTV! Every time you sign up for service, you will be given an entry to the raffle. Visit their website, www.charter.com to see the services offered which you can customized to your own bundle.
An even bigger opportunity is the grand prize package of a 52" LCD flat screen HDTV, a Home Theater System, and one year of FREE Charter Digital Cable® service. So check out the Charter Communication website (www.charter.com) and see if they service your area!
