MUFA - The Flat Belly Diet

Flat Belly DietFor most women, especially us who have borne children, is the weight that seems to have taken up residence in our belly that no matter how hard we diet and work out just can't seem to get rid of. The news is that there is now a diet that is geared specifically to target this area and apparently, it works! It's call the Flat Belly Diet which claims not a single crunch is required. Sounds great to moms like me who just can't get into the working out thing and would be lucky if I don't pull an unrelated muscle doing a crunch.

Anyway, the Flat Belly Diet claims to be about food and attitude. Period. The premise of the diet is MUFA in every meal. MUFA stands for Mono-Unsaturated Fatty Acids. You've heard of good fats and bad fats just as there are bad cholesterol and good cholesterol. Well MUFA is the good kinds of fat. It is the type of fat that is "heart-healthy, disease-fighting, "good" fat found in foods like almonds, peanut butter, olive oil, avocado, even chocolate." The list is sounding good already, right?

If it sounds like something you would stick to, and I have a feeling it's easy to do, check out the website. You can sign on online, track your progress, get menu ideas and recipes and learn from experts.
