What is it about food on a stick that is so appealing? Take this doughnut on a stick that we found at the Chinese deli inside the Grand Asia Market in Cary, N.C. The girls and I love going to that market on weekends because it is just bustling with activity. Plus, they have only-on-weekends fare like sweet or savory silken tofu, freshly made noodles with your choice of toppings and of course, freshly baked goods from baos to these doughnuts on a stick.
The doughnuts were light, not too greasy and rolled in sugar. The girls love them.
